With over 15 years of experience in medical technology assessment, M K Willian is a recognized specialist in outcomes research/health economics involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Her work has been pivotal in making go/no go and business development decisions for early stage technologies, in the launch and marketing of new products, and in determining the impact of drugs and devices on patients and their families.
M K Willian has served in senior executive positions in research for both small and large pharmaceutical firms and has consulted for the pharmaceutical, medical device and venture capital industries. She has served as a senior analyst regarding health policy financing issues and medical technology assessment at the state and national levels. She has also held professorships at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, the University of Pennsylvania and at the University of Virginia. She has numerous publications in health and medical peer reviewed journals.
