A full-time scientist with PRO Consulting, Chad Gwaltney most recently worked as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Community Health at Brown University. In his research, Dr. Gwaltney has employed ecological momentary assessment methods to collect patient self-report data in both adults and adolescents. He has published over 20 articles and book chapters addressing topics such as addictive behaviors, cardiovascular health, and statistical methods for intensive self-report data. Dr. Gwaltney is also an investigator on 3 NIH-funded grants and serves as a manuscript reviewer for several academic journals. Dr. Gwaltney received his bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and his Ph.D. in Clinical-Health Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a pre-doctoral fellow in the NHLBI/University of Pittsburgh Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine Program and received his graduate clinical training at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. He completed his clinical psychology internship in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University.
