ePRO Evaluation

PRO Consulting will research and develop an ePRO Evaluation report that will include recommendations for a suitable platform for future electronic administration, and recommended activities to ensure the measurement properties are retained in the electronic mode of administration.

Specifically, PRO Consulting will:

  • Research the existing literature to evaluate the validation status of paper and electronic versions of the target instrument
  • Make recommendations for the most suitable electronic platform for the target instrument
  • Make recommendations for the faithful migration of the paper instrument to electronic platform to minimize compromise of psychometric properties
  • Use PRO instrument validation hierarchy to match the “level” of instrument modification to a specified validation procedure
    • Modes of Administration: in particular any reports of electronic use
    • Scale Content and Design Assessment: to identify any issues that will need to addressed when migrating to electronic mode.
