PRO Instrument Migration

PRO Instrument Migration assists sponsors in adhering to the elements of the FDA Draft PRO Guidance and other publications (e.g, Shields et al., 2006) regarding migration of PRO instruments.

PRO Consulting will involve the instrument author/distributor as appropriate to obtain required licenses/permissions to use instrument in electronic platform and obtain author approval of content and interface of migrated instrument
Migration to electronic format in a manner that minimizes impact to instrument’s measurement properties, retaining as much of the item text, response options, and scale formant included in the validated paper instrument as possible
