Concept Evaluation

Concept Evaluation is the examination of PRO instruments in a program or trial with respect to each instrument’s measurement properties and ability to detect a treatment effect. Drawing upon multiple sources of information, the PRO audit process documents whether the measures meet scientific and regulatory expectations.

PRO Consulting will carry out a comprehensive review for each candidate PRO scale that includes:

Intended use: whether or not instrument has been used with target population or similar one
Validation Status: reliability, suitability for specific populations, ability to detect treatment change
